Established the First Black Woman Heal Day-MILWAUKEE COUNTY Event in Milwaukee, WI - April 1, 2017
Received Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors recognition for her many years of faithful and distinguished Milwaukee County service to families and professionals, for intervention care and training professionals in culturally responsive domestic and sexual violence prevention; and establishing the first Domestic Violence Advocate Certification Cohort ever to be offered at any institution of higher education in the State of Wisconsin.

November 2017, Alice Belcher released the first of her four-book library series on Family Violence and its Prevention. Family Violence Prevention for African American Communities. Grounded in the curriculum she wrote in delivering the Certification for Family (Domestic) Violence Advocate training (CFVA also known as CDVA) these textbooks are written to continue the culturally responsive, best practice, trauma informed care and prevention strategies she researched and delivered during the CFVA six year pilot program in higher education.
